In the dark streets of Mumbai and the world of crime, Raj Comics’ most dreaded and ruthless protector, ‘Doga’, rules. The law that Doga takes into his own hands to root out crime has a direct impact on the bones and souls of criminals. In this comic series—‘Bhaag Doga Bhaag’, ‘I Hate Doga’, and ‘No Longer Tu No Main’—the stories of two of the most dangerous and unique enemies who sought revenge against Doga come to light: first, ‘Bulldog’, who became a victim of mental instability and wild cruelty, and second, the ‘Ear Team’ (Trio of Hate), consisting of three disabled criminals who became victims of Doga’s bloody justice.
Below is the full story of these two enemies, including their beginnings (Origins), their deep conspiracies, and the bloody battles they fought against Doga, presented completely and sequentially in story form:
First Chapter: The Birth of Bulldog, Wild Madness, and Bloody Havoc
A very powerful, cruel, and heavily built gangster named Bulldog ran his empire in the underworld of Mumbai. His right-hand man and planner was Bacardi. Bulldog’s major sources of black money included cutting open almonds, filling them with brown sugar, smuggling them, collecting extortion money, running illegal gambling dens, and accepting money to commit murders.
Bulldog’s journey towards destruction began when Doga noticed his dark deeds. Doga brutally set Bulldog’s truck carrying Rs 5 crore worth of smuggled almonds on fire, broke the legs of his hafta-collecting extortionists to render them helpless, and turned his huge gambling den into rubble by driving a road roller over it.
In the world of crime, the fear of Doga became so deeply rooted in Bulldog’s mind that he started having frightening dreams at night. One terrible night, Bulldog dreamed that Doga had entered his room and was beating him badly while saying, ‘Having the name alone does not make you a bulldog; a dog’s full temperament and aggression should be visible too!’ In the dream, Doga tied a dog leash around Bulldog’s neck, beat him brutally, reduced him to a pet puppy, and forced him to lick his shoes. When Bulldog awoke from this humiliating and terrifying dream, he was completely drenched in sweat and had urinated out of fear.
This mental shock and the feeling of being weak drove Bulldog’s mind to a point of madness from which it was impossible to return. He announced to his partner Bacardi that he would no longer live to earn money but would instead live with a thirst for Doga’s blood. He decided that he would make Doga lick his soles in the same way that Doga had forced him to do in his dream.
Bulldog decided to turn himself into a real ‘dreaded dog’. He completely changed his appearance—he had an ugly, wrinkled, bulldog-like mask made, wore heavy iron chest armour, attached sharp nails to his hands, and even added a tail to the back of his costume. His belief was that Doga was an incomplete dog because he did not have a tail, while he himself was a ‘complete and real bulldog’.
Bulldog and Bacardi then tried to decipher the mystery behind Doga’s name. Bacardi derived the meaning of ‘D-O-G-A’ from the first letters of four major martial arts and fitness institutions in Mumbai:
D – Lion’s Den (Lion Den) – Boxing Arena (Coriander Uncle)
O – Lion Occult (Lion Occult) – Judo/Karate Centre (Pepper Uncle)
G – Lion Gym (Lion Gym) – Bodybuilding and Weightlifting (Ginger Uncle)
A – Lion Aim (Lion Aim) – Precision Shooting Centre (Pepper Uncle)
Bulldog believed that Doga was the best disciple of one of these four places. To satisfy his madness and thirst for blood, Bulldog devised a creepy plan—he would kidnap the best athletes from these institutions, force them to wear Doga’s costume, i.e., his purple mask, chest armour, and uniform, and then beat them while shouting—“Part Doga Part!”
He kidnapped Lion Aim’s Olympic-level shooter Jugal, dressed him in Doga’s uniform, and decapitated him with a gandasa. After this, he kidnapped Prafulla, the famous boxer from Lion’s Den, dressed him as Doga, and killed him by throwing him from a great height. He then kidnapped Lion Occult’s karate expert Shrestha, attacked him with acid, and murdered him. The mutilated bodies of these innocent young men were dressed in Doga’s uniform and thrown onto the streets, causing the shocking news that Doga had been killed to spread throughout the city and the media.
When Doga, i.e., Suraj, learned about this cruelty, he deliberately allowed himself to be captured at Lion Gym. Bulldog’s goons grabbed Suraj and brought him to Bulldog’s base. Bulldog dressed Suraj as Doga and began attacking him as usual. But this time, the person standing before him was not an innocent student but the real Doga himself.
Doga summoned his loyal ‘Dog Army’ by blowing his ultrasonic whistle. A pack of dogs attacked Bulldog’s base and arrived carrying Doga’s weapons. Doga shot Bacardi and all his goons. This was followed by a vicious hand-to-hand fight between Doga and Bulldog. Doga crushed Bulldog’s wild cruelty by striking him with punches, riddling him with bullets, and throwing his bloodied body onto the street.
Second Chapter: The Creepy History and Alliance of the ‘Ear Team’ (Trio of Hate)
Bulldog had not completely stopped breathing even after being brutally crushed by Doga. While Bulldog lay suffering on the deserted road in Versova, three people emerged from the darkness whose lives had been scarred by the permanent wounds inflicted by Doga. This was the ‘Ear Team’—a trio of three dreaded criminals who had been burned by the fire of Doga’s justice.
Every member of this trio had their own painful and twisted history behind their desire for revenge against Doga:
Ear Killer (Kaan Killer):
He had been mentally ill since childhood. When he was in the eighth grade, he chewed off both ears of a child in anger during a fight with a classmate over a ball in a football match. After being expelled from school, he entered the world of crime and started killing people for money. His trademark was that he would bite off the ears of every victim. When Doga learned about him, Doga cut off both of his ears from the roots, punishing him for what he had done. This earless killer began burning with fear and hatred at the mere mention of Doga’s name.
Bloody Inspector:
He was a highly corrupt and cruel inspector in the police department who acted in a manner similar to the infamous Bhagalpur blinding incident in Bihar. He used to brutally and permanently blind innocent and helpless people in his custody by pouring drops of acid into their eyes. When Doga learned about the crimes of this cruel inspector in a khaki uniform, he himself poured acid into both eyes of this enemy of the law. After losing his eyesight, Bloody Inspector began dreaming of Doga’s death from behind his goggles.
Corrupt Judge:
He was such a greedy and dishonest judge sitting in the chair of justice that he used to deliver wrongful verdicts in court in exchange for bundles of currency notes. He used to send innocent people to the gallows for money and honourably acquit notorious criminals. Doga entered his courtroom and house and said, ‘The tongue with which you have killed innocent people by accepting bribes will no longer remain,’ and then pulled out his tongue and cut it off with a knife. This mute, tongueless judge continued to burn in the fire of hatred.
Together, these three had become the devilish and twisted versions of Mahatma Gandhi’s three monkeys—hear no evil, represented by Ear Killer; see no evil, represented by Bloody Inspector; and speak no evil, represented by the judge with the severed tongue.
Third Chapter: The Hospital Conspiracy and the Return of Bulldog
The trio found a cigarette box near the half-dead Bulldog lying on the road. Before losing consciousness, Bulldog had written on it with his pen and blood—“I know Doga…”
The trio understood that Bulldog knew Doga’s true face and his secret identity. If Bulldog survived, he could lead them to Doga. They spent money like water to save Bulldog. They had the most senior doctors perform surgery on Bulldog, spending anywhere from Rs 95 lakh to Rs 2 crore on his treatment in the ICU of the city’s most expensive hospital.
After fifteen days of intensive treatment, Bulldog regained consciousness, but he had lost his memory (amnesia) because of the numerous gunshot wounds and injuries to his head. He had forgotten who he was and who Doga was. However, his hatred for Doga was rooted so deeply inside him that as soon as the smell of gunpowder spread through the room or Doga’s picture appeared before him, Bulldog’s former wild cruelty would awaken, and he would start screaming like a madman.
The trio spread false news across the city’s TV channels that Bulldog was alive in the hospital and was about to reveal Doga’s real face. Upon hearing this news, Doga, i.e., Suraj, became alert. Doga understood that it was a trap set for him, yet he reached the hospital to bury this secret forever.
At the hospital, the trio had laid a powerful trap for Doga by planting a time bomb inside an ambulance and forming a police cordon around it. Doga attacked the ambulance, but instead of Bulldog, there was only a mannequin wearing his mask inside. The trio took advantage of the bomb blast and escaped in a helicopter, taking the amnesiac Bulldog with them. Doga was left helpless, and Bulldog once again slipped out of his reach.
Fourth Chapter: A New Conspiracy—Guru Hanuman’s Traitorous Disciples and the Drama of ‘Tarkol’
In ‘No Longer Tu No Main’, the Ear Team, i.e., Ear Killer, Bloody Inspector, and Corrupt Judge, understood that they could not face Doga themselves because of their physical conditions. Therefore, they decided to place a bounty of Rs 7 crore on Doga—Rs 2 crore from their side and Rs 5 crore from the underworld’s ‘Adham’ gang as a contract to eliminate him.
For this task, they chose three rebellious and traitorous disciples of the great patriot and akhara-running Guru Hanuman: Hathkate, Khambe, and Gabade.
These three disciples had learned the secret arts of bodybuilding and combat from Guru Hanuman, but they later chose the path of crime. They used to smuggle foreign weapons and gunpowder under the guise of a scrap business. When Guru Hanuman learned about their betrayal, he tried to stop them. During the bloody battle in the railway yard, these traitors trapped Guru Hanuman’s legs in the mechanism of the railway tracks. Doga came to save Guruji, but an approaching high-speed train badly crushed both of Guru Hanuman’s legs. Doga immediately secured the severed limbs and took Guruji to the hospital for microsurgery.
Meanwhile, the trio of the Kaan Team contacted these three traitors and handed them the entire plan to eliminate Doga. Khambe, one of these traitors, pretended to be a new masked vigilante like Doga. He wore a spotted animal-skin costume resembling a hyena and named himself—‘Tarkol’.
Tarkol claimed that, like Doga, he had also taken to the streets of Mumbai to eradicate crime and would blacken the faces of criminals. In reality, this was a fake drama created by the Kaan Team. With the help of fake bandits and police officers whom he had personally hired, Tarkol began staging false encounters and dramatic chases on the streets so that he could prove himself to be a superhero in the eyes of the public and Doga, and then stab Doga in the back as soon as he got the right opportunity.
When Doga and Tarkol came face-to-face, Doga understood the truth about him at a single glance. Doga noticed that the robber whom Tarkol claimed to have shot as an ‘innocent person’ had the scorpion tattoo of the same gang on his wrist, and the entire police chase was fake.
Doga ripped the hyena mask from Tarkol’s face and threw it away, revealing that he was none other than Khambe, a traitorous disciple of Guru Hanuman. Doga brutally beat Khambe, rendering his heavy body and supposedly bullet-resistant strength useless. Khambe’s strength was of no use against Doga’s deadly attacks. Doga beat him half to death and threw him into a municipal garbage truck.
The Bloody Story of Hatred and Revenge of Doga’s Enemies
Bulldog’s story follows the mental collapse and wild cruelty of a boastful gangster who is driven insane by his fear of Doga and begins to think of himself as a violent animal. On the other hand, the Kaan Team, i.e., Ear Killer, Bloody Inspector, and Corrupt Judge, symbolizes those cunning criminals from the underworld who were left disabled by Doga’s justice, but the fire of revenge burning within them made them even more poisonous than before. The alliance between these enemies became the foundation of one of the most tangled, bloody, and mind-boggling battles of Doga’s life.
