Here, all the major characters of this great story are explained in great detail.

The heroic side of the Yoddha series stands on the foundations of morality, righteousness, and sacrifice. This story begins when a terrible earthquake and a change in the cycle of time awaken an invincible five-thousand-year-old warrior on the modern streets of Rajnagar. He brings with him his ancient art of warfare, immense physical strength, and principles. The main challenge for the heroic side is not only to catch the criminals but also to adjust to a world where rules, regulations, and weapons have completely changed. Joining Yoddha are those friends of his who have either come from his own time or are the protectors of this new age. This side is fully prepared for the victory of truth and the protection of innocent people. Their struggle is not only with weapons but also with ideas and loyalty.
Maharathi Yoddha

Yoddha is the heart of this series. He is a representative of an ancient civilization where bravery was considered the greatest purpose of life. Yoddha has a nature like a calm sea, but when his principles are attacked, he becomes a destructive volcano. After coming to Rajnagar, he is saddened to see the chaos prevalent there and takes responsibility for protecting its citizens, considering them his clan. His greatest weapon is ‘Dhakmandhan’, which seems to be an extension of his arms. Yoddha is not only proud of his power, but he also respects his enemies, which makes him a great hero. He cannot tolerate an insult to the tricolour and writes a new definition of justice in collaboration with the modern-era Inspector Bharat. His character is a combination of patience and unbreakable courage.
Dhakmandhan (Yoddha’s Divine Weapon)

Along with Yoddha, his weapon ‘Dhakmandhan’ should also be seen as a living entity. It is not just a piece of iron but a unique combination of ancient science and spiritual power. It is studded with a very powerful diamond that remains connected to Yoddha’s mental waves. This weapon becomes an unbreakable shield during defence, and while attacking, it transforms into a mace that can blow away walls like straw. Apart from this, Dhakmandhan can also rain arrows upon enemies. Criminals often try to steal this diamond, but this weapon works only for a person who has truth in his heart. Yoddha worships it and considers it more precious than his life.
Ballar (Yoddha’s Most Loyal Friend)

Ballar’s character is the best example of a change of heart and a strong friendship in this series. In the beginning, he was a ruthless slave master and a loyal commander of Queen Lohangi, whose job was to put others in chains. But when he encountered Yoddha and witnessed his selfless heroism, all the evil in his mind disappeared. Yoddha considered him his brother even after defeating him, changing the very purpose of Ballar’s life. He became Yoddha’s most trusted companion. Ballar’s physical strength is equal to that of Yoddha, and a distinctively aggressive style can be seen in his martial arts. He never shies away from risking his life for Yoddha and stands as Yoddha’s shield in many difficult situations.
Princess Shambari

Shambari is the most important female character in this story and a powerful Tantrik. She comes from Yoddha’s era, and behind her beauty lie mysterious magical powers. Shambari is not only a warrior, but she is also a guide to Yoddha. She can control the forces of nature with the help of her Tantra Vidya. She possesses protective rays that can stop even modern bullets in mid-air. The relationship between Shambari and Yoddha is not only one of love but also one of deep respect and a shared purpose. She helps Yoddha from the sky with her flying cot and discovers the hideouts of criminals. Her character is a balanced combination of tenderness and toughness.
Tapraj (Yoddha’s Brother and a Yogi)
Tapraj is a disciple of Yoddha’s father, Tantral, and Yoddha’s spiritual brother. His character demonstrates the combination of yoga and science in the story. Tapraj possesses such yogic power that he can separate tiny particles from his body and travel through time. Tapraj’s role has been very important in finding Yoddha in the modern era and saving him from Lohangi’s captivity. He is a calm character who always acts thoughtfully. His presence keeps Yoddha connected to his past and constantly reminds him of his roots.
Inspector Bharat

Inspector Bharat is the protector of modern Rajnagar, who brings Yoddha’s sense of justice within the bounds of the law. Initially, Bharat tried to arrest Yoddha, considering him a suspected criminal, but he soon understood that Rajnagar was in great need of a person like Yoddha. The partnership between Bharat and Yoddha is a combination of law and courage. Inspector Bharat provides Yoddha with information about modern weapons, radar, and the working methods of criminals. He acts as a bridge between Rajnagar’s police force and Yoddha. His honesty and patriotism create great respect for modern India in Yoddha’s mind.
Mahamuni Bhabhoot Dev and Tantral
Both of these characters form the foundation of Yoddha’s spiritual strength and fighting skills. Tantral is Yoddha’s father, who made him take an oath to protect righteousness while handing over ‘Dhakmandhan’. Mahamuni Bhabhoot Dev is a sage who can see the past, present, and future and knows in advance about the coming destruction and clash of powers. His instructions show Yoddha and his friends the right path. They are such strong pillars of the story that they preserve ancient knowledge.
