In the world of Indian comics, while Jambu, Angara and Tausi are symbols of ‘light’, there stands before them ‘a vast empire of darkness’. This empire rests not on physical strength alone, but on satanic intelligence, deception and such dangerous technology that it can enslave all of humanity. Let’s delve into the stories of these most terrifying faces of darkness.

Super Boss and the Blue Diamond Syndicate

Super Boss and Blue Diamond Syndicate in Jambu Ke Bete

The most terrifying and main enemy of the Trinity is the ‘Super Boss’. He is not just a criminal, but a satanic genius. The ‘Blue Diamond’ organization is the world’s largest secret syndicate, with its own satellites, its own army and its own space station. The Super Boss’s face is always hidden behind a golden or black mask, which deepens the mystery surrounding him. His real strength is his mind. He knows that it is impossible to defeat Jambu, Angara and Tausi with physical strength, so he resorts to ‘psychological warfare’.

The main objective of the Super Boss is to acquire the supercomputer installed inside Jambu so that he can create a robotic army capable of capturing the entire Earth. He had installed a ‘capsule transmitter’ in Bunty’s mind, through which he could control Bunty’s every move and summon Jambu anywhere. His cruelty can be gauged from the fact that he killed his own loyal agents simply because they were about to be captured by the Trinity. The Super Boss’s technology is so advanced that he can wreak havoc in any part of the Earth from space itself.

Super Man: The Face of a Machine Catastrophe

Jambu facing the Blue Diamond Syndicate villains

The Super Boss created a special warrior to take on Jambu, called ‘Super Man’. He was a dark version of Jambu. Super Man had all the powers that Jambu had, but he had no capacity for pity or emotions within him. The ‘thermal rays’ emanating from Super Man’s eyes could even turn iron into steam. The battle between Jambu and Super Man at the Clock Tower in Hong Kong is considered one of the longest and most terrifying battles in Indian comics. It was Super Man who destroyed the famous bridge in Hong Kong, which Jambu had to use every last drop of his battery power to save.

Charlie: Little Devil

Jambu Angara and Tausi in Mar Gaya Jambu comic

Charlie is a villain whom readers hate and sometimes laugh at because of his actions. He is a dwarf, but his small stature is nothing compared to his satanic intellect. Charlie initially appeared as Angara’s enemy. He is knowledgeable about poisonous gases and chemicals. Charlie’s speciality is that he is a huge ‘chameleon’. When he thinks that his boss, the Super Boss, is about to lose, he immediately falls at Jambu’s feet and starts spying for him. But as soon as he gets a chance, he does not back down from stabbing Bunty in the back. Charlie plays an important role in the ‘Jambu Ke Son’ comic, where he tries to entangle Jambu with his magical tricks.

Kalachakra: A Combination of Mysticism and Science

Jambu and Tausi battling Tulsi Comics villains

Kalachakra is a villain who troubled Tausi. He is a Tantrik who has combined ancient powers with modern machines. Kalachakra’s main base is a secret cave, where he hatches his conspiracies while sitting among human skulls and computers. He had created an ‘anti-snake gas’ to drive Tausi out of the underworld, due to which Tausi could lose his power to change his appearance. Kalachakra believes that science alone is not enough to rule the world, and that it is also necessary to capture spiritual powers.

Sigma and the Underworld of Hong Kong

Sigma is a ruthless and greedy villain who handles local operations for Blue Diamond. He appeared in Jambu’s early stories. Sigma has an army of hired killers who can cut anyone’s throat just for money. It was Sigma who put Bunty in danger by coming between the innocent girl and Jackie’s love. His ending was very terrible. Jambu had buried him using his drill machine in a place from which it was impossible to escape.

Robinhood and Halaku: Agents of Death

These are the two most special and dangerous agents of the Super Boss.

Robinhood: This is the same person who challenged Angara’s animal army. Robinhood had a special ‘whistle’ that produced ‘waves’ with which he could control the mind of any animal. He had forced Jatayu himself to attack Angara.

Halaku: Halaku is a poisonous human being. He carries the poison of the world’s most dangerous snakes in his veins. Tausi’s poison had no effect on him, as Halaku himself possessed an ‘anti-venom’ body. Together, these two had laid a death trap for the Trinity on ‘Lahasa Island’.

Blue Humans (The Blue Men)

These are the secret soldiers of the Super Boss. They were created in a laboratory with the help of special chemicals. Their skin is blue, and they do not feel any kind of physical pain. They sacrifice their lives for their boss without a second thought. They attack in groups and overwhelm even a warrior like Jambu with their sheer numbers.

Conclusion of the Mahagatha:

The Trinity of Jambu, Angara and Tausi has faced all these demons from time to time. While the heroes fight with truth and unity, these villains seek to wipe out the world with deception and technology. But as shown on every page of these comics—whether it is the Super Boss’s space station or Kalachakra’s magic—these empires of darkness always have to kneel before true heroism and friendship. This journey reminds us of the adventure that Tulsi Comics started decades ago.
