In this memorable saga of Raj Comics, while the enemies had crossed all limits of cruelty, Nagraj’s friends and companions also proved through their bravery, wisdom, and sacrifice that they are Nagraj’s real strength. The journey from the ‘death penalty’ to the ‘great war’ was not Nagraj’s struggle alone, but also a tough test of the loyalty of his loved ones. These friends not only supported Nagraj on the battlefield, but when Nagraj became helpless, they risked their lives to protect him.

Complete information about all the major heroes of this Mahagatha and Nagraj’s friends is given below in the form of a story:

Visarpi: Protector of Nagadweep and symbol of love

Princess Visarpi is the most integral part of Nagraj’s life. Throughout this series, Visarpi plays not only the role of a love interest but also that of a skilled ruler and warrior. When Nagadweep was overshadowed by internal and external threats, Visarpi single-handedly confronted the rebels. In the ‘Nagadweep’ section, we see how she copes with the rebellious Danshak. Her bravery becomes more evident when she learns that her own guards have become slaves of Nagina. Visarpi protected the scepter with her wisdom and saved the subjects from being scattered. She is so devoted to Nagraj that when Nagraj was sent to a future time, the tears in Visarpi’s eyes fell on her chest like embers, showing her yearning. She gave up her attachment to power and supported every plan of Mahatma Kaaldoot and Vedacharya to bring Nagraj back. Visarpi is the strong link in this saga who kept the torch of righteousness burning in Nagraj’s absence.

Dada Vedacharya: Himalaya of knowledge and restraint

Dada Vedacharya is not just an advisor to Nagraj, but also a father-like guide. His role in this Mahagatha has been very important, as he was the only one who understood the treasure of Kaljayi and the mystery of the Triphana Manis. Gurudev imprisoned him in his laboratory and subjected him to merciless atrocities, but he could not break Vedacharya’s resolve. Vedacharya’s real test came when he had to choose between the life of his granddaughter Bharti (who was helping him by posing as Faceless) and the safety of Nagraj. He used his knowledge to break Nagina’s tantric webs and found a scientific and spiritual way to recall Nagraj from the future. His mantras acted as a shield to balance the powers of ‘Triphana’. The character of Vedacharya teaches us that a war is not won only with weapons, but also with a calm mind and great knowledge.

Bharti (Faceless): An example of courage and detective skills

The role Bharti played in this series was the biggest ‘surprise’ for the readers. She is initially shown as a helpless victim in Gurudev’s captivity, but it is revealed at the end of the story that Bharti had cunningly stolen Gurudev’s own technology. She kept roaming around Gurudev’s laboratory as ‘Faceless’ (a masked warrior) and secretly helped Nagraj and Vedacharya. Her transformation from an ordinary journalist into a modern-day warrior was surprising. As Faceless, she kept her identity hidden so that she could sabotage Gurudev’s machines and warn Nagraj in advance about the enemies’ plans. It was Bharti’s sacrifice and courage that hollowed out Gurudev’s pride in being ‘invincible’ from within. She emerged as a friend of Nagraj who proved that friends can win wars not only on the battlefield but also by entering the enemy’s lair.

Mahatma Kaaldoot: Loyalty and the power to correct mistakes

Mahatma Kaaldoot is Nagraj’s guru and the most respected saint of Nagvansh. What happened to him in this saga was the saddest. Due to Nagina’s tantric control, he lost consciousness and became the most dangerous enemy of his own beloved disciple, Nagraj. Nagraj was almost killed by his immense powers while he was under her control. But as soon as he was freed from Nagina’s influence, his remorse became his strength. To correct his mistake, he not only waged a great war against Nagina and Nagpasha but also pushed his yogic power to its limit to bring Nagraj back from the future. It was Mahatma Kaaldoot who finally gave Nagraj the knowledge of ‘Amrit’ and ‘Shakti’, with which he could defeat a demon like Mashrailla. His character shows the unbreakable relationship between a guru and his disciple, which no evil force can break for long.

Honi: The serpent who shows the way to the future

When Nagraj reaches the radiation-filled and desolate world of the future in the ‘Great War’, where he has become old and weak, ‘Honi’ emerges as his greatest protector. Honi is a mysterious serpent from the future who has the ‘Bhavishya-Mani’ embedded in her head. She introduces Nagraj to the dangers of that time and makes him believe that no matter what the time may be, ‘Nagraj’ is always a warrior. It was Honi who gave Nagraj the courage to fight the terror of Mashrailla and took him to the gates of ‘Mrityulok’. Her guidance was like a lifesaver for Nagraj. Without Honi’s help, Nagraj would never have been able to withstand the radiation from that nuclear war, nor would he have been able to return to the present. Honi is the divine friend of this saga who shone like the only ray of hope in a future full of darkness.

Nagarjuna, Sinhnaag and Nagapreti: Loyal Guards of Nagadweep

These three are the commanders and warriors of Nagadweep who have served the royal family for ages. In this series, they become enemies of Nagraj for some time after falling victim to Nagina’s tricks. But their souls always remained loyal to Nagraj and Visarpi. As soon as Nagraj, with his wisdom, freed their bodies from Nagina’s control, they attacked Nagina’s demonic army without caring for their lives. The power of Sinhnaag, the precise aim of Nagarjuna, and the art of warfare of Nagapreti served as a shield for Nagraj during the ‘Maha Yudh’. The dedication of these warriors shows that Nagraj’s empire is not just a piece of land, but a group of brave friends who have the power to face death at the command of their master.

Tanya and the Rebels of the Future: The Last Defenders of Humanity

In the future depicted in the ‘Great War’, Tanya is the leader of those humans who were living in fear of Mashrailla. Initially, she considers Nagraj an enemy and the ‘incarnation of Satan’ and attacks him with her beam guns. But when she sees Nagraj’s courage and his sacrifice for others, she becomes his biggest ally. It was Tanya who told Nagraj about future technologies and weapons and helped him discover Mashrailla’s weaknesses. She represents the humanity of that time, which had forgotten how to fight, but Nagraj’s arrival awakened courage within them again. Tanya’s cooperation ensured that Nagraj faced no danger from the humans, allowing him to concentrate completely on eliminating Mashrailla.

Conclusion: The Immortal Saga of Friendship and the Victory of Righteousness

Starting with the ‘death penalty’ and ending on a grand scale with the ‘Great War’, this story teaches us that no matter how powerful the enemy may be, if you have a devoted life partner like Visarpi, a knowledgeable guide like Vedacharya, a courageous friend like Bharti, and a guru like Kaaldoot, you can even defeat Kaal (time). Nagraj’s victory was actually a collective victory for all these friends. While the foundation of the alliance between Nagpasha and Nagina rested on greed and jealousy, the foundation of the alliance between Nagraj and his friends rested on true love and the protection of righteousness. This great war proved that the bonds of friendship are stronger than the chains of tantric control. When Nagraj finally secured Triphana’s gems and restored the balance of time, all these friends standing beside him witnessed his victory. This great story is an enduring echo of good triumphing over evil, which will continue to inspire throughout all the ages of the universe.
