Mahabali Bhokal has a place in the history of Raj Comics as an unmatched, righteous, and invincible warrior whose physical strength, swordsmanship, and dignity are renowned throughout the universe. Among the most difficult, mysterious, and grand sagas in the life of Bhokal, the protector of Vikas Nagar, the ‘Divyastra and Maharavan’ series (Witch Mother, Divyastra, Kalkoot, Mrityujit, Dankini, Kapalika, Kalanka, Mahayudh, Maharavan) is at the top.
In this Mahagatha, Bhokal not only fights ordinary demons but also clashes with superpowers that shake the three worlds, such as the ultimate sinner Maharavan, Kalkoot, Kalankini, and the deceitful Guru Tusharacharya, while wielding the infallible Divyastras given by the gods themselves. Sankatmochan Hanuman himself supports him at every step in this righteous war in the form of an old monk, along with his demon blood brother AtiKrur, Dhanusha, the greatest among the Bhils, and his loving mother.
Saloni and Rupsi: Bhokal’s divine wives and the embodiment of sacrifice

In the life of Mahabali Bhokal, his two wives, Saloni and Rupsi, are not just life partners but also the foundation of his family life and mental peace. These two queens, who share happiness and sorrow with Bhokal in the palaces of Vikas Nagar, are completely devoted, loving, and courageous towards their husband. When Maharavan and the deceitful Guru Tusharacharya devise a cunning plan to mentally defeat Bhokal, they kidnap Saloni and Rupsi along with their children.
The deceitful Guru imprisoned the bodies of these two women inside stone idols with his Maya, subdued their true forms, and turned them into weapons against Bhokal. Bhokal was attacked using the unconscious bodies of Saloni and Rupsi so that Bhokal would either be killed by his own loved ones or become a sinner by using weapons against his own family. Even under these difficult circumstances, when Saloni and Rupsi regained consciousness, they inspired Bhokal to stand firm in the righteous war without caring for their lives. Their silent sacrifice and unwavering devotion towards Bhokal are among the most emotional aspects of this saga.
Amar Turin: The shining ‘Prahar’ on the forehead and the memory of immortal love
Turin was Bhokal’s first and immortal companion, whose sacrifice is the deepest wound and greatest inspiration in Bhokal’s life. Although Turin died before this epic, her spiritual presence accompanies Bhokal at every step throughout this series. The magical weapon given by Turin, ‘Prahar,’ always shines like a divine crown on Bhokal’s forehead.
Whenever Bhokal found himself in a supernatural crisis, whether it was the poisonous whirlwind of Kalkoot, the deadly sting of Dankini, or the superpowers of Maharavan, Prahar protected Bhokal’s life by becoming a shield and releasing powerful rays of energy. When the violent demons tried to reopen Bhokal’s wounds by talking about Turin’s death, the sacred memory of Turin ignited such a fierce fire of anger within Bhokal that it burned the mighty demons to ashes.
Witch Mother (Yagyamata): Mother of love, new life, and the giver of divine wings

Bhokal initially mistook this mysterious old woman, who lived in a dilapidated hut in the dense forests of Chetanagari, for a bloodthirsty witch. When Bhokal fell into a ditch in a dying condition after a fierce battle, this old woman brought him to her hut and cared for him. She would feed Bhokal a very bitter and burning decoction every day and was seen sucking blood from his wounds in the darkness of night. Bhokal felt that she was an evil witch who was slowly killing him.
But the truth was completely the opposite. That old woman was actually the wife of a great sage, whose husband, Rishi Achyutananda, and son, Akhilesh, were killed by demons before her eyes when they demanded the location of the divine weapons. That decoction was actually a ‘life-giving medicine’ made by Vaidyaraj Dhanvantari, which not only saved Bhokal’s life but also caused supernatural ‘divine wings’ to grow on his back, making Bhokal capable of flying in the sky. While sacrificing her life, that mother accepted Bhokal as her son and entrusted him with the sacred mission of obtaining the divine weapons of the gods to end the great evil coming to Earth.
Sankatmochan Hanuman (Old Monk Form): Bhokal’s Greatest Protector and Spiritual Guide

The greatest and main architect of this entire Mahagatha is Hanuman Ji himself, the son of Pawan Dev. He walks alongside Bhokal in the form of an ordinary, weak, and nearly naked old monk. When Bhokal begins to drown in pride over his physical strength and weapons after obtaining the divine weapons, this old man completely shatters his pride through his divine acts and teaches him the lessons of true righteousness and humility.
When Bhokal is surrounded by Kalkoot’s illusory birds and stones and becomes soaked in blood, this old man brings ‘Sanjeevani Booti’ from Dronachal Mountain and restores Bhokal’s life. When Maharavan uses the power of his penance to force Pawan Dev and Yamraj to fight against Bhokal, this old man stands before those gods, bears the blows of their weapons on his chest, and protects dignity in this war between righteousness and unrighteousness.
When the old man allows himself to be bound in Maharavan’s Rampash, his only aim is to show Bhokal that a commitment to dignity is greater than any weapon. Finally, when Bhokal invokes the flame power of ‘Mahaguru Bhokal’ to dry up the nectar flowing through Maharavan’s body, Sankatmochan Hanuman appears in his true Virat form, embraces Bhokal, and declares him the greatest Mahabali in the universe.
Mahabali Atikrur: The Righteous Warrior of the Demon Clan and Bhokal’s Blood Brother

Atikrur was the son of Queen Sarupa of the demon race and the most powerful warrior of Patal Lok and Kalanka. He was so huge and physically powerful that he could shatter mountains with a single blow from his famous weapon, ‘Dantak.’ Initially, Mrityujit’s mother had subdued Atikrur’s mind by making him wear a magical hypnotic ring and sent him onto the battlefield against Bhokal.
When Bhokal cut the ring from his finger with his precise arrow, Atikrur’s hypnosis was broken. As soon as he learned the truth, Atikrur turned against his evil cousin Mrityujit and accepted Bhokal as his brother. To break the strong boundary wall of Kalanka City, Atikrur uprooted with his own hands the four tantric nails buried in the foundations of Patal Lok. During this time, Atikrur sacrificed his life while bearing the thunderbolt-like blows of Kalankini on his chest. His immortal martyrdom and subsequent revival through Kalankini’s boon proved that it is not a person’s clan but their actions that make them superior.
Bhil Shrestha Dhanusha: The Unmatched Archer of the Three Worlds
Dhanusha is the bravest and greatest archer of the Bhil community. He had been playing with arrows since childhood, and his quiver contained miraculous weapons capable of making the impossible possible. Dhanusha’s bow was not merely a wooden bow but could fill his arrows with powers such as wind, fire, and thunderbolts.

When Kapalika began the Mahayagya with eleven lakh blood-filled Kumbhas, it was Dhanusha who divided his ‘Koti-Lakshya-Bhedi Arrow’ into eleven lakh directions simultaneously, shattered all those pitchers together, and reduced Kapalika’s dream of becoming immortal to dust. Dhanusha not only led Bhokal’s Bhil army with his unerring archery but also forced Maharavan’s illusory demons to retreat before the rain of his arrows.
Bhilraj and the Bhil Army: Loyal Guardians of the Forest

Bhilraj, the king of the Bhils living in the forests and mountains, and his brave army had deep reverence for Bhokal. When Kalbhujang, Kalkoot’s poisonous python, poisoned their entire river and swallowed hundreds of their tribesmen, Bhokal came forward as their protector. Bhilraj, along with his entire clan, took part in Bhokal’s righteous war. With the help of stones, spears, and traditional weapons, they bravely faced the dangerous demons of Kalanka City and Maharavan’s army and displayed immense courage.
Maharani Kurupa: The Demonic Queen Who Stood Against Unrighteousness

Kurupa was the chief queen of the ultimate sinner Maharavan, but her heart was not as unrighteous as that of her cruel husband. On the first night of their marriage, Maharavan gave her one highly secret power, the ‘Kapal-Bhedi Power,’ from among his twenty superpowers. When Kurupa saw that Maharavan was determined to destroy the entire universe and shed innocent blood, she refused to support her husband in his sins.
When the deceitful Guru’s Mohini hypnosis had completely weakened Bhokal, Atikrur, and Dhanusha, leaving them standing at death’s door, it was Kurupa who used her Kapal-Bhedi Power to break that hypnosis and save Bhokal’s life. After this, she left Maharavan’s palace, sought Bhokal’s protection, blessed him like a son, and told him the method of countering Maharavan’s secret powers.
The Trinity and the Divine Gods: Deities Who Bestowed Divine Weapons
Throughout this great story, the greatest gods of heaven tested Bhokal and bestowed their infallible weapons upon him.
• Lord Krishna: He tested Bhokal’s unwavering courage in the whirlpool of Kshirsagar and gave him his ‘Sudarshan Chakra.’
• Devadhidev Mahadev Shiva: Pleased with Bhokal’s true devotion after Nandi’s ordeal, he handed him his doomsday weapon, the ‘Trident.’
• Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram: He gave his divine ‘Bow and Inexhaustible Quiver’ to Bhokal after Bhokal completed the difficult test of stringing the bow.
• Mother Mahakali: Pleased with the bravery of Bhokal, who sacrificed his own hand, she gave him her destructive ‘Khadg’ and a boon.
• Lord Ganesha: Seeing Bhokal’s kindness towards Mushakraj, he gave him his ‘Ankush.’
• Kapiraj Angad and Garuda Dev: By giving Bhokal a mace, a divine book of knowledge, and their blessings, they made him capable of conquering all three worlds.
• Suryadev and Devarshi Narad: They appeared in the sky and on Earth from time to time and showed Bhokal the path to victory in this great battle for righteousness.
