Have you ever wondered what would happen to the whole world if a small child had the shadow of the ‘devil’ on his face? Many villains have come and gone in the world of Raj Comics, but “Jaag Utha Shaitan” (Woke Up Devil) is a story where a confrontation occurs between the powers of ‘supernatural’ terror and ‘superheroes’, which can make anyone’s soul tremble after reading it. This special issue of Raj Comics is such a memorable story of Paramanu and Shakti, in which not only their strength but also their patience is tested.
That Cursed Moment in Bhalswa Village: When Even Nature Accepted Defeat in Front of Death!

The story begins at the ancient temple of ‘Bhalswa’, a quiet village in Delhi. After a wait of twenty-five years, a child is about to be born to the temple priest. The whole village is celebrating, but a different kind of fear has spread through the air. As soon as the baby is born, lightning strikes from the sky and the earth trembles. This is not an ordinary birth, but an event that shakes the fate of the entire universe. This child of the priest is actually the bearer of the ‘devil’, whose awakening was plotted centuries ago.
‘Danasur’s’ Creepy Orgy: When Even Iron Plates Scattered Like Sand!

The story unfolds with Danasur’s devastation of the village. This is not an ordinary monster. His body is made of clay and stone, which absorbs bullets into itself like soft clay. When Police Inspector Vinay and his entire force fire bullets at this clay monster, Danasur laughingly turns everything into a pile of debris. This is the part of the comic where Raj Comics’ ‘dark’ and ‘realistic’ action appears at its most dangerous. Every punch from Danasur is like a bomb blast.
Entry of Paramanu and Shakti: Will the Combination of Science and Penance Be Able to Stop This Devil?
To stop this doom, two giants enter the field—Paramanu and Shakti. Paramanu tries to understand Danasur’s weaknesses using his scientific powers, while Shakti directly challenges him with her magical powers.
That scene from the battle, when Paramanu attacks with his ‘nuclear rings’ (Nuclear Rings), but they have no effect on Danasur, shows how powerful this villain is. The pairing of Paramanu and Shakti (Team-up) is the heart of this story. While Paramanu ‘works with his mind’, Shakti uses her ‘fire’ and ‘divine powers’.
The Mystery of the Amulet-e-Sulemani: The Satanic Throne That Brings Doom!

As the story progresses, it is revealed that Danasur is only a pawn. The real game revolves around the ‘Amulet-e-Sulemani’ hanging around that child’s neck. Ancient angels buried a satanic throne underground centuries ago. If this child, who is actually the incarnation of Satan, sits on that throne, doomsday is bound to come.
The story takes us from Sufi shrines in Delhi to the pyramids of Egypt. Author Hanif Azhar has very intelligently combined ‘dharma’, ‘history’ and ‘superhero fiction’ to create a story that will make you think.
Danasur vs. Paramanu: Is Magnetism the Death of This Clay Giant?
The final and biggest battle in the comic is very intelligently written. Paramanu understands that Danasur’s body is made of ‘clay’, but the ‘iron nail’ embedded inside it is what keeps him alive. Paramanu tries to pull that nail out of his body using his ‘magnetic powers’. But here comes a new twist in the story—as soon as the nail comes out, Danasur takes on an even more terrifying form! Such twists and turns in the story keep surprising readers at every moment.
Art and Illustration: When the Scene of ‘Doom’ Lands on Paper!

Talking about the artwork, the pairing of Vinod Kumar and Adil Khan has done wonders. Danasur’s muscular and rocky body and the red rays emanating from his eyes appear very scary. Paramanu flying and Shakti unleashing her powers in the action panels look very effective. The difference between the powers of both heroes has been shown very well. Fine work (Detailing) is clearly visible in every panel, from the ruins of the village to the streets surrounding the pyramids.
‘Jaag Utha Shaitan’: The Psychological Message of the Story
This comic is not only a story about a fight, but it also raises a question—is the fate of a human being already written, or can he change it through his deeds? The child is innocent, but the amulet around his neck controls him. Will Paramanu and Shakti be able to save that child, or will they have to destroy him to save the world? This difficult dilemma between right and wrong (Moral Dilemma) gives the whole story a serious (Mature) tone.
Is This the Best Comic in Your Collection?

If you are fond of stories that combine science fiction, mythology and superhero action, then “Jaag Utha Shaitan” is no less than a ‘treasure’ for you. This is one of those special stories from Raj Comics that not only entertains but also leaves a deep impact on the mind.
While reading this comic, you will feel as if you are watching a movie where the heroes do not have a supercomputer, but a ‘heart’ that beats to save an innocent child. Reading this is an experience that you will not be able to forget, even if you want to.
