Mata Radha alias Gaurangi: The Immortal Sacrifice and Maternal Strength of a Brave Mother
Dhruv’s real mother was known to the whole world as ‘Radha’, the skilled aerial acrobat of Jupiter Circus, but her real name was Gaurangi. She was the elder daughter of Mahant Vajradhar, the chief abbot of India’s ancient and secret warrior organization, ‘Rakshak’ (Mahanand Math). Growing up amidst the arduous training of the Akhara and yogic martial arts since childhood, Gaurangi was the most agile, intelligent, and prominent female warrior among the Hunters. There was no warrior to match her in fencing, unarmed combat, and difficult missions.
The biggest turning point in Gaurangi’s life came when the corrupt deputy chief of the Indian intelligence agency, J.J. Dadwal, started using the Hunters organization for his personal and anti-national activities. Dadwal sent Gaurangi on a mission to attack a secret Indian scientific laboratory near Jaisalmer and steal a highly confidential bio-formula from there. Upon reaching the laboratory, an honest Indian scientist clearly told her that the land and the formula belonged to the Government of India and that it was necessary to protect them from foreign powers. Hearing this, patriotism awakened within Gaurangi. She refused to obey Dadwal’s anti-national order and secured the entire formula on the microdot film in her camera.

Angered by this move, Dadwal and Hunters commander Martand falsely accused Gaurangi of treason and betraying the organization. Mahant Vajradhar sent his daughter into the forest after giving her the ‘Smriti Lopan Booti’, prepared by Hakim Vaidya, to save her from the death sentence. After losing her memory, Gaurangi wandered through the forests and met Jacob Uncle in the game park, where she received the new name ‘Radha’. When Radha became pregnant after her marriage to Shyam, an acrobat at Jupiter Circus, the Hunters’ hired killers launched constant attacks to kill the child she was carrying. Radha, even in her unconscious and half-awake state, protected the little life growing inside her with the help of her hidden martial arts skills. She survived the massive fire at Jupiter Circus and, for many years, secretly watched the activities of her son Dhruv and the Hunters.
Father Shyam: The Brave Acrobat and Ideal Father of Jupiter Circus
Dhruv’s father, Shyam Jupiter, was the most popular, adventurous, and accomplished trapeze artist in the circus. He was not only a brilliant gymnast but also a symbol of human values, fearlessness, and true love. When he married Radha, who had lost her memory and emerged from the forests, he gave her the highest place in his life.

Shyam fought off the Hunters by becoming a shield for his wife and unborn child, without regard for his own life, when their professional assassins attacked the pregnant Radha with poisonous darts and bombs. He taught Dhruv his first lessons in balance, fearlessness, and love for animals in the circus environment from an early age. Shyam sacrificed his life while saving his family and companions during the massive fire that broke out at Jupiter Circus.
Nana Mahant Vajradhar: Abbot of Mahanand Math and Invisible Protector of Dhruv
Mahant Vajradhar, the former abbot of Mahanand Math (Hunters Headquarters) and Dhruv’s maternal grandfather, was a highly disciplined and just person. He was the son of Mahabal, the founder of the ‘Rakshak’ organization, which was formed in 1910, and was the protector of the greatest traditions of the Hunters.

When Dadwal and Martand conspired to seize control of the monastery, they made Mahant Vajradhar test the ‘invisibility formula’ brought from the scientific laboratory. As soon as Mahant drank the chemical, he became unconscious. Martand and Dadwal, believing him to be dead, threw him from the highest peak of the mountain into a deep ravine. But the formula had worked. The Mahant did not die but became invisible forever. He remained in the Hunters’ forests for several decades as an ‘invisible shadow’, watching over the organization and his family. When trouble struck Dhruv, this same invisible Nana killed Dadwal, told Dhruv the truth about the Hunters’ bloody history, and finally declared him the rightful abbot of the organization.
Aunt Kalika: The Mystery of Jealousy, Regret, and Baby Swapping
Kalika, Gaurangi’s twin sister and Dhruv’s biological aunt, had a jealous nature and was greedy for power. She married Martand and hatched conspiracies to secure the throne of the Hunters for her family. In the maternity home, when Radha and Kalika gave birth to their children on the same day, Kalika tried to replace Dhruv with her own child so that her son could remain safe and retain his right to the throne of the Hunters.
For years, it remained a mystery as to which of Dhruv and Curva was whose son. When Kalika learned the truth that Dhruv was the biological son of her sister Gaurangi, regret awakened within her. She told Dhruv the whole truth while suffering the punishment for her sins.
Cousin Dwiveshti: Genius Hacker and Fighter from London
Dwiveshti, the daughter of Kalika and Martand, was Dhruv’s cousin. In her childhood, she was sent to the famous ‘Bishop Cotton Boarding School’ in London, where Dadwal raised her as her guardian. Dwiveshti became a genius computer hacker and martial artist.
Dadwal had lied to her and called her to India, claiming that Dhruv was her brother and that his life was in danger. When she learned about Dadwal’s betrayal and the truth about Dhruv, she supported Dhruv, Shweta, and Natasha while regretting the sins of her family. She proved to be Dhruv’s biggest helper by breaking through the Hunters’ high-tech security cordon.
Adoptive Father Commissioner Rajan Mehra: A Strong Pillar of Law and Justice
Rajan Mehra, who adopted little Dhruv after he was orphaned in the Jupiter Circus fire and raised him like his own son, is the honest Police Commissioner of Rajnagar. He instilled in Dhruv the finest values of law, justice, and social service.
Even when his daughter Shweta went into a coma after the Hunters’ attack and Commissioner Mehra himself was suspended under pressure from the Home Ministry, he did not lose his faith in Dhruv. He continued to examine the Hunters’ old files regardless of pressure from the department and fully supported Dhruv in bringing the truth to light.
Adoptive Mother Rajni Mehra: An Unbreakable Embodiment of Love and Affection
Dhruv’s adoptive mother, Rajni Mehra, gave Dhruv even more love and protection than she gave the child born from her own womb. When the Hunters’ shooter Uluk attacked Shweta, Rajni Mehra went into deep shock.
Despite this, when she found Radha (Kalika’s transformed form) injured on the road, she risked her life out of humanity and took her to the hospital. During this time, her car met with an accident, from which she narrowly escaped. Mother Rajni’s place in Dhruv’s life holds the greatest emotional significance.
Sister Shweta alias Chandika: Brave Protector and Life-Saving Sister
Shweta, Commissioner Mehra’s biological daughter and Dhruv’s adoptive sister, looks like a normal and bubbly girl on the outside, but on the inside, she is Rajnagar’s extremely brave masked protector, ‘Chandika’. Shweta’s character was very important throughout this entire series.
She also assumed the form of Chandika as soon as she regained consciousness, while she was fighting for her life in the ICU after being seriously injured in an attack by the Hunters’ assassin, ‘Uluk’. When Dhruv was dying in the hospital due to poison and an attack by the Hunters, Chandika saved her brother’s life by bringing the rare Sanjeevani herb. She decoded the secrets of the microdot in her secret laboratory and, along with Natasha and Black Cat, fought the Hunters’ warriors head-on.
Uncle Jacob: Founder and Loyal Protector of Jupiter Circus
Jupiter Circus owner and former international wildlife photographer, Uncle Jacob, had supported Radha after she lost her memory in the forests. Later, he established the enormous Jupiter Circus with the help of his savings and the money in Radha’s bank account.
When Kalika conspired to replace the newborn Dhruv in the hospital, Jacob’s vigilance ensured that Dhruv was returned to his real mother’s lap. The Hunters and Grandmaster Robbo tortured Jacob brutally in Mauritius and Rajnagar and burned half of his face, but he never revealed anything about Dhruv.
Herculis: A Very Powerful Wrestler and Dhruv’s First Physical Mentor
The circus’s giant wrestler, Herculis, taught little Dhruv the techniques of strengthening his body, lifting weights, and breaking walls with his famous forehead strike (headbutt). The Hunters held Herculis captive and turned him into a zombie through drugs after he was badly burned in the circus fire. When Dhruv arrived at the Hunters’ base, Dhruv’s love and their shared childhood memories awakened Herculis’ dormant mind, and he sided with Dhruv against the Hunters.
Suleman and Ranjan: Masters of Shooting and Knife-Throwing
Suleman, the circus’s infallible marksman, made Dhruv practise accurately hitting moving targets in the air and using guns and slingshots in difficult situations. At the same time, the world-famous knife-thrower Ranjan taught a blindfolded Dhruv how to throw a knife accurately at a target based solely on sound, along with the secret techniques of martial arts, which became Dhruv’s most powerful weapons throughout his life.
Anna Baba: Master of Kalaripayattu and the Great Leader of Sea Creatures
Anna Baba, who lived on a sea island in Kerala, was a great master of the ancient martial art of ‘Kalaripayattu’. When Dhruv arrived on this island after a boat accident as a child, Anna kept him there and trained him rigorously for several months. Anna taught Dhruv how to turn every part of his body into a weapon and how to strike with a flexible sword (urumi). Apart from this, Anna taught Dhruv the secret skills of holding his breath underwater for a long time and communicating with dolphins through a special ultrasonic whistle.
Commando Natasha: Robbo’s Heir and the Strongest Companion on the Battlefield
Commando Natasha, the adopted daughter of Grandmaster Robbo, emerged as Dhruv’s strongest shield. When the Hunters surrounded Dhruv from all sides, Natasha deployed the Robo Army’s modern fighter jets, parachute commandos, and satellite systems in Dhruv’s defence. She fought the Hunters’ fastest shooters and fighters side by side with Dhruv.
Black Cat alias Richa: From the Fire of Revenge to the Path of Justice
Richa (Black Cat), the daughter of the chief scientist at Jaisalmer’s secret bio-laboratory, was injected with dangerous cat genes by her father, allowing her to see in the dark, jump from great heights, and possess cat-like speed and agility. Since childhood, she had believed that Gaurangi had murdered her father. Consumed by this fire of revenge, she went after the Hunters and Dhruv. But when Dhruv and Shweta showed her the truth behind Dadwal’s conspiracy, she became one of Dhruv’s most trusted protectors and helped destroy many of the Hunters’ bases.
Commando Force: Karim, Peter, and Renu
Karim (technical expert), Peter (combat commander), and Renu (expert in combat planning), the core members of the Special Youth Security Force created by Dhruv, risked their lives to secure the Hunters’ container at Rajnagar Port. They fought dangerous warriors from the Navy and the Hunters.
Faithful Animal and Bird Friends of the Circus
Jupiter Circus’s Asiatic lion ‘Royal’, whom Dhruv rescued from deadly poison as a child; Uncle Jacob’s ten-foot-tall trained gorilla ‘King’, who tracked and searched for his loved ones by scent; the giant elephant ‘Jumb’, who rescued little Dhruv and Radha from the Pied Piper’s missile darts in the circus; and the circus dog ‘Brun’ and bird army (pigeons, eagles, and dolphins)—all of them would leap into the jaws of death at Dhruv’s signal and whistle.
